But the 3,708-square-foot home, known as the Birnbaum-Shubetz House, is in need of updating.
The six-bedroom home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places - a designation that provides certain tax breaks.
Clinton lived in this house as a teenager from 1954 to 1961, a period when he first identified his political ambitions.
He went on to become Governor of Arkansas and the 42nd President of the United States.
The building was originally built in 1896 as a Queen Anne-style home.
In 1938, it was renovated to its present Tudor Revival design.
The home sits on almost an acre of land, high above North Spa Park uptown, and it offers beautiful mountain views and a four-stall horse stable.
Chris Rix, the listing agent for Rix Realty Advantage Team Realtors, who owns the home, says the Clintons sold it to the previous owners.
Prior to his purchase, unique legal circumstances put the house in jeopardy.
"The husband's health declined and he passed away, and his wife owned the property for life," Rix said of the previous owners." It ended up being stuck in a trust, so I applied to the court to buy the property. There were homeless people living in the house at the time. I wanted to protect the house from further damage."
The space has undergone various conservation work over the years and is now being further renovated.
Electrical and gas plumbing updates have been completed and plans are underway for two new kitchens with quartz countertops and soft close cabinets.
